At Eventory, we never stop searching for new solutions. This time, on the basis of our clients’ needs, we present a brand new feature which will help your attendees explore your event even more. Eventory ecosystem introduces a new addition to its useful features – an interactive Venue Map!

Why we created Venue Map feature?

Eventory already provided one feature for venue visualization, so why did we decide to launch another one? As all of our product development, our decision was based on practical experience. We noticed that there’s a need for a tool that would prevent common venue problems. Paper maps, jpg venue maps, that were not updated when the slightest change occurred, led to frequent confusion at the event. Attendees were often lost and didn’t explore the floors entirely. We decided to change that!

What is Eventory Venue Map?

Eventory Venue Map was created in order to make it easier for attendees to move around the event space. The feature contains an interactive venue map that can easily navigate the user to the chosen destination. It is our new alternative to already existing floor plan option, which presents the venue in jpg form.

How does it work?

First of all, user types or points current location on the map. You can do it also by scanning QR codes if available. The application will then navigate the attendee from one place to another, previously determined. A visible dot path leads the user to a desired location, even if it includes a change of floor levels. Also, interactive venue map enables users to zoom specific parts of the venue, such as separated stands and so on. This way, the exploration of the exhibition floors becomes easier and you won’t have to worry that your attendees get lost.

We are extremely proud of this new addition to our platform – the 3D navigation, which easily lets locate sponsor’s stands, reception, information desk or coffee break area and other places previously determined by organizers. Usually, while attending an event, we find ourselves in an unknown space. This makes us feel lost, we waste our time looking for the interesting points instead of focusing on the value of the event itself. We believe that the Venue Map feature will improve the participants’ sense of security, increase their satisfaction from the event and will contribute to the better ROI of the event.
