Women in Tech Summit – the partnership to empower the future of technology
The first such occasion in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia for all amazing women in technology. Women in Tech Summit will happen this November. From students and professionals to CEOs of some of the most innovative global technology companies – all can meet in Warsaw to talk about the future of technology, develop networks, explore career opportunities, and learn from and inspire each other.
Why is it worth participating?
“Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit” will be the first event in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia (CEE&CA) addressed to female IT students and professionals. It will take place on the 27-28 of November 2018 in Warsaw. The Summit will create a meeting space for the female talents in technology. A record number of 1000 participants is expected from European Union countries (like Poland) and Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. The Warsaw Summit will become a center of the discussion about the future of technology and its social impact, and about women contribution in this key area.
An accompanying Career Fair for students will present offers from the top technology companies that place special emphasis on supporting and employing women and are interested in building a diversity culture in their organizations. Universities and IT faculties will have a chance to present their achievements and establish contacts with high tech businesses.
Speakers
During this event, you can meet interesting people from across the world and various backgrounds: politics, business and science. Some of the guests are Jarosław Gowin- Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Minister of Science and Higher Education, Georgette Mosbacher- US Ambassador in Poland, Jadwiga Emilewicz- Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology or Wanda Buk- Deputy Minister of Digitalisation. Many more inspiring guests will empower the event with their presence and speeches. The event will gather over 100 speakers from all over the world – heads of top tech companies, influencers, experts and researchers
